Hunting
Washington State
for the Northwestern Whitetail
Whether you are looking to hunt the northwestern
whitetail for the first time or to complete
your whitetail slam, our late season hunts
are the way to go. There are only a handful
of top notch northwestern whitetail outfitters
to choose from. Growing up hunting Washington
whitetail and being familiar with the area
and habits, as well as having some of the
best northwestern whitetail guides scouting
and preparing year round, puts us right
at the pinnacle of northwestern whitetail
hunting.
Elk Springs Outfitters specialize in late
season, archery northwestern whitetail deer
hunts. You may be in a set tree stand, climbing
stand or ground blind. Our whitetail hunts
take place in late November and early December.
You will most likely be hunting “Canada
style”(from a ground blind), but without
the headaches of border crossing and the
cost of an out of country hunt. Sometimes
the hunt may dictate other techniques and
we will hunt accordingly. We hunt some of
the top trophy northwestern whitetail producing
units in Washington, right smack dab in
the middle of the state’s best hunting
areas. Our Washington whitetail guides scout
several types of areas, they range from
urban to remote mountainous areas, as well
as cropland to big timber. You will be hunting
wherever your best chances and the biggest
trophy northwestern whitetail have been
located.
Most
likely you will be sitting the majority
of each day, but being in good physical
shape opens up a lot of options as far as
getting into remote and rarely hunted stands
which sometimes hold some great Washington
whitetail deer.
This hunt does not include meals and lodging
so you will want to budget for a motel and
meals. We pick you up and drop you off each
day at your motel.
A typical day will have you in the blind
from dawn to dusk so you will want to be
prepared for long sits in cold weather.
There are no guarantees on a free range
hunt, but we are typically seeing deer every
day and the odds of seeing a Pope and Young
class buck area very high.
