If you are interested in bear hunts, we have been 100% shooting on bears for a few years now. We run about 50% color phase bears, 50% black. Our hunts are done out of tent camps. We hunt over baits but take about half the bears spot and stalk. The bears are mountain bears and don’t tend to be real heavy but we do get some book heads.

The season Spring Season runs April 1- June 30th and the Fall Bear Hunt is in October in a 2 bear bag limit area. The price is $2500 per hunter on a 2x1 or $3000 for a 1x1 (you would be the only hunter in camp). For non hunters it is $100 per day. We are limited to 2 clients at a time. It is a great hunt that includes a great wilderness experience. We will spend mornings and afternoons glassing for bears and the evenings over baits, but our strategies may change according to bear activity. Economy Bear hunt

We also offer an economy hunt for black bear. This is a hunt not for the faint of heart. For this hunt you will have to be in excellent physical shape. This is a backpack hunt . You will be sleeping in a backpacking tent, on a pad, on the ground, as well as eating freeze dried backpacking food. This is a no frills, high success adventure that allows us to get back into some of the areas that never see hunters and to target bears that have grown old with very little if any human contact. This is an affordable way to experience a rough country “sheep” style of hunt. If you are interested, call for pricing.
